What is BizAcademy?

"The Apprentice": Where no one gets fired!

BizAcademy is an apprenticeship in leadership. BizAcademy is a program run globally which provides disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to learn about business, gain many new skills and expanded networks for moving forward in their careers.

Every year, salesforce.com works with youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are keen to learn about business and grow their career. By joining the corporate world for a week at our regional salesforce.com offices, working on a real project and learning from employees and mentors, they get hands-on experience and real-world business expertise.

To date, close to 300 BizAcademy graduates have participated at salesforce.com offices around the world — in San Francisco and Singapore, Tokyo and London, Dublin, New York, Toronto and Sydney. Since 2005, the salesforce.com Foundation has awarded more than $USD120,000 in scholarships to these deserving young people, and 50 BizAcademy graduates have been placed into internships at the salesforce.com offices, including the first Sydney intern at the first Sydney BizAcademy program in 2010.
